Project Abstract

Due to America’s obsession with value and convenience fast food has become a staple of our economy and culture. College students have some of the poorest dietary behaviors compared to any other population and they are specifically targeted by fast food companies. A college environment helps promote a lifestyle where cheap and convenient fast food is able to thrive. All college students, regardless of class, are affected by fast food culture in some form depending on their social, economic, and demographical factors.
