Project Abstract

In its simplest terms, our project goal was to find the most suitable space within our given plots of land for a truly viable spot for a community garden. By assessing neighborhood location, water accessibilty, soil composition, among a dozen other factors, we must find a way to create sustainable urban agriculture through community involvement. Included in this project, you will find lot assessments for 11 plots of land, you will also find a poster to drum up neighborhood and community interest, and a video where a local is interviewed to guage interest within his own community. I think that you will find this project to be as thorough as possible given the abilities and constraints we faced along the way.
